Cultivating Coders is an innovative and inclusive coding bootcamp that breaks down—and crosses—boundaries… literally. Instead of students coming to us, we take our bootcamp to them. Because greater reach means greater impact. And that’s worth traveling for.
Sometimes that means going to parts of rural America that few have even heard of. Other times, it means traveling to inner-city neighborhoods overlooked by traditional STEM education. And often, it’s somewhere in between.
Wherever the destination, we prime the next generation of coders to help create a better future for themselves and their communities.
Services
Cultivating Coders differentiates itself by bringing coding classes to rural, tribal, and inner-city areas where resources are not currently available for this type of training. We focus on high school students (aged 13-18), adults working to skill-up or re-skill (18+), and aim to track them for the duration of their high school years and after.
Cultivating Coders offers a customized intensive boot camp-style training course focused on web and mobile application development fundamentals and technical training. The camp teaches a host of evolving and cut- ting edge web development technologies ensuring students are always learning the optimal curriculum to be successful and employable upon completion.
We believe the coding done by our students should not go to waste. Therefore, we identify businesses and non-profit organizations in the community that could benefit from the web development produced by our students. By partnering with local companies, we create endless opportunities for our students.
